The Pearl Junior High Singers and Pearl High School Singers recently represented the Pearl Choral Program at the 2024 Orlando Heritage Festival, a national event featuring more than 600 student musicians from across multiple states. Both ensembles delivered exceptional performances, showcasing musical maturity, artistry, and the strength of our choral tradition.

The Pearl Junior High Singers received a Gold Rating, affirming their excellence on a national stage. The Pearl High School Singers also earned a Gold Rating, secured 1st place in the 3A Concert Choir Category, and were recognized with the distinguished Adjudicators’ Award for achieving an overall score above 95 out of 100 — an honor reserved for the highest-scoring ensembles.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our students, the support of our community, and the long-standing commitment to musical excellence within the Pearl Singers program.

The Pearl High School Singers toured Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland and Cambridge, Oxford, and London, England.  They performed at St. Georges Tron in Glasgow, St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, and the Waldegrave School in London.  The group also toured Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Trafalgar Square in London, Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, and Stonehenge.  

In April of 2019, the Pearl Jr. High Singers traveled to New York City to compete in a National Heritage Festival.  The Pearl Jr. High Singers and the Pearl Jr. High Advanced Girls Choir earned Gold ratings at the festival.  The Pearl Jr. High Boys Chorale earned a silver rating.  Students also toured the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Empire State Building.
